Decorating college kids’ apartments can be a lot of fun. One of my boys saw a flag made out of golfballs and asked if we could make it. It was a family affair and one that actually didn’t take too long to make. What we did not factor in was that it was going to weigh a lot and we glued it to a piece of thin plywood. It ended up being over 70 pounds. If I were to ever make one again, I would use a much thicker piece of wood.
We cut the balls in half using a pvc pipe cutter and then spray painted them red, white and blue and used liquid nails to glue them on.
