What We Do
Baltimore Flower Ninjas is a project spearheaded by KM Creative to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maryland. 100% of proceeds go to the House to support their mission.
Currently there are 10 families who are quarantined in Baltimore. These are families whose kids have cancer, need life-saving surgeries or have other conditions which require that they be away from home. The Ronald McDonald House has always provided meals for its families through the generosity of volunteers and since the quarantine has been in place, volunteers are no longer allowed to serve meals. Through donations, the house is continuing to provide meals for the families that are still there. In an effort to get more donations and spread joy and awareness, the Baltimore Flower Ninjas were born.
“Flower bombing” is the act of placing a large number of flowers in someone’s yard without them knowing. For a donation of $25 or more, the Baltimore Flower Ninjas will surprise your friend or loved one with a flower bomb for their birthday, anniversary, or “just because”! Instead of live flowers, the Ninjas create flowers out of paper plates with the help of those at the House and other volunteers. While in-person “flower bombings” are local to Maryland, the Ninjas can ship anywhere in the United States and even do custom orders.
Anyone can become a Ninja, and it’s a great way for kids and their families to serve the community. To date, the Baltimore Flower Ninjas have raised over $10,000 for the Ronald McDonald House.
